Tree Climber with CDL

The Tree Climber with CDL role is onsite in Fort Collins, CO, with pay of $25–$33 per hour based on experience. SavATree’s mission is to preserve trees and protect natural landscapes; this role is part of its General Tree Care Team. The climber performs tree-care work that supports the health and structure of trees and shrubs while protecting crew and client safety. The role uses climbing expertise, equipment, and established pruning and safety practices for pruning, removals, and cabling.

What you'll do

• Perform pruning, removals, and cabling
• climb safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders
• operate chainsaws and aerial lifts
• apply ANSI A300 pruning standards and ANSI Z safety practices
• make proper pruning cuts
• assist with safe tree removals
• identify hazards and conduct safety checks
• perform aerial rescues if necessary
• communicate with team members and clients.
