What you'll do

• Conduct routine dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools
• move raw materials and finished parts throughout the shop
• support machines by filling coolant tanks and emptying chip hoppers
• assist with first-article inspections and in-process quality checks
• identify nonconforming parts for quarantine
• maintain clean work areas and organized measuring equipment
• document inspection results and alert supervisors to quality or equipment issues
• shadow operators to learn company standards.
