Job overview

The Bilingual AOU Travel Research Coordinator role is onsite in Middletown, CT, at the Weitzman Building. Compensation is $23 per hour. The role is part of the Patient Engagement Team supporting the All of Us research program. The coordinator conducts outreach, engagement, enrollment, and retention activities for research participants, with occasional research support tasks. By explaining the program, obtaining informed consent, collecting data, and coordinating participant activities, the role supports enrollment and retention in the research program and community engagement.

What you'll do

  • Conduct outreach and recruitment
  • identify, screen, and enroll eligible participants
  • explain the research program and answer questions
  • use teach-back and motivational interviewing
  • obtain informed consent for approved protocols
  • administer surveys and record data
  • perform basic biometrics and assist with biospecimen collection and processing
  • schedule participant appointments
  • assess outreach effectiveness
  • raise community awareness through events and other outreach.
