The Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST), Life Skills Coach role is onsite in Thompson, CT, and pays $18 per hour. The trainer works in Project Genesis’s Acquired Brain Injury Program, helping people with acquired brain injuries build skills and confidence for greater independence. The trainer works one-on-one with clients to teach daily living skills, coach problem-solving and communication, monitor progress, support personal goals, and connect clients with community resources. The work contributes to clients’ independence, self-advocacy, and quality of life.
