Shipboard Engineering Technician 2 — C5ISR Installations

The Shipboard Engineering Technician 2 role is onsite at government facilities, primarily in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA, with possible extended travel to other U.S. shipyards and Navy ports outside the United States. What you'll do

• Support cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations
• read shipboard drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and cable running sheets
• operate installation test equipment
• attach fiber optic, RJ-45, and DB connectors
• dress cable installations
• assemble mechanical subassemblies, racks, and chassis
• build infrastructure and install and test equipment on ships and submarines
• safeguard company equipment and tools
• organize and schedule welding jobs.
