The Project Lead, Rail Systems role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, and pays $160,000–$240,000 annually. The role is based in Egis’s Sacramento office. The position exists to lead integrated rail systems delivery from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover. It coordinates multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders while managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety, and performance to support successful project acceptance and closeout.

What you'll do

• Lead rail systems delivery and integration from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover
• manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety, and performance across contracts and work packages
• lead multidisciplinary teams
• coordinate signaling, communications, power, SCADA, operational technology, infrastructure, and operational systems
• engage clients, contractors, suppliers, regulators, utilities, and partners
• oversee commercial, technical, operational, and contractual decisions
• drive operational readiness, system acceptance, integrated testing, and closeout.
