What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
• maintain food quality, taste, and presentation
• follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and keep the kitchen clean and orderly
• assist with inventory and supply ordering
• interact positively with residents, staff, and guests
• perform other assigned duties.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous cooking or food-preparation experience is preferred. ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where state or county law requires it; an approved sanitation and safety course may be required. Must reside within the service area and be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
