What you'll do

• Examine patients’ legs and feet and diagnose diseases or care needs
• treat foot and ankle bone, muscle, and joint disorders
• manage wounds
• use medical histories, examinations, imaging, and laboratory results to diagnose conditions
• prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate
• advise patients on treatment and prevention
• educate patients, families, and healthcare team members
• maintain medical records.
