Chief Human Resources Officer

The Chief Human Resources Officer role is onsite in Baltimore, MD, with compensation of $40–$55 per hour. The position supports Enterprise Management Solutions and affiliated customer companies through its Human Resources division. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with travel up to 10% of the time. The CHRO leads human-capital strategy and HR operations across affiliated organizations, including workforce compliance, employee lifecycle programs, benefits, HR systems, and employee relations. The role also oversees contracted HR consultation and fractional CHRO services, helping organizations maintain compliant, people-centered practices.

What you'll do

• Develop enterprise-wide HR strategies, policies, and systems
• oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, and separation
• ensure employment-law compliance
• lead benefits and HRIS administration
• advise leadership on workforce planning and labor costs
• manage audits, grievances, investigations, and employee complaints
• track HR metrics
• oversee contracted HR consultation and fractional CHRO services
• lead compliance program assessments, training, audits, and reporting.
