Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Colusa, CA; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and symptom histories
• observe and document patient needs and responses to care
• assist physicians with care planning and communication
• collect specimens and perform CLIA-waived tests, blood draws, and immunizations as directed
• translate for providers when needed
• document services and complete billing and reporting
• provide physician-directed educational materials
• maintain medical records, logs, and clinical supplies
• perform assigned quality assurance audits
• cross-train for medical receptionist duties
• assist with operational policies and procedures
• update patient charts
• maintain confidentiality.

Why this role
