The Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Technician (MLT/MT) position is onsite in Houston, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule and shifts between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM. Starting pay is $30 per hour, based on experience. Dean’s Professional Services is recruiting for a role with a healthcare organization in Houston; the position is temporary to hire. The technician performs waived and moderate-complexity laboratory testing and supports accurate, compliant lab operations. The work includes proficiency testing, quality control, analyzer maintenance, inventory, technical reporting, and communication of results to providers and clinical staff.

What you'll do

• Conduct waived and moderate-complexity testing
• perform and submit proficiency testing
• monitor quality control and implement corrective actions
• operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers and laboratory equipment
• maintain inventory and prepare routine technical reports
• communicate test results, including critical values, to providers and clinical staff
• comply with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and Texas DSHS standards
• support team workflows and a safe, compliant laboratory.

Why this role
