The Weekend Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD, with fixed starting pay of $21.50 per hour. The part-time schedule is Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM. Jubilee Association of Maryland supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live in and enrich their communities. The professional provides in-person daily support in homes and community settings according to each person’s plans. The role advances independence and self-determination by assisting with daily living, health needs, relationships, community participation, documentation, and communication with families and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Provide support in homes and communities according to person-centered plans
• assist with community activities, relationships, daily living, personal care, medical visits, medication, mobility, exercise, money management, and transportation
• complete required training and certifications
• follow service plans
• document services and progress
• communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and families
• attend relevant meetings.
