The Cook role is onsite at Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services in Sparks, NV. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Days and hours may vary, and weekend and holiday availability is required. Culinary Services Group provides food service management to senior care, hospital, and behavioral health communities. The cook prepares and serves food that meets established recipes, quality, safety, and service standards. The role supports reliable meal service through food preparation, portion control, kitchen upkeep, and coordination with coworkers and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and service schedules
• serve meals or prepare them for delivery with correct portions and temperatures
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving
• follow HACCP and company safety procedures.
