Court Security Officer

What you'll do

• Enforce courthouse entry and identification procedures and operate screening equipment
• patrol court facilities and grounds
• staff stationary posts and monitor security equipment
• provide armed escorts when directed
• direct traffic and pedestrian movement where applicable
• enforce federal law and respond to unauthorized access or threats
• prepare reports and records
• secure and inspect courtrooms, test security devices, and maintain courtroom order.

Why this role
