The Bag Machine Assistant role is an onsite position based in Green Bay, WI. Compensation is not specified for this role. The Bag Machine Assistant is responsible for inspecting raw materials, collecting and labeling finished goods, and assisting with machine changeovers. This role exists to maintain production quality and efficiency, providing a pathway for advancement into an operator role.

What you'll do

• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Collect, package, and properly label finished bags/gaylords according to production and customer requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, including material inconsistencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in machine changeovers for different production runs, including loading and preparing new rolls of material.
• Perform quality inspections and testing on finished bags.
• Operate PIV equipment as needed.
