The CDL-A Dedicated Flatbed Truck Driver role is onsite in Thompson, CT; compensation includes $0.69 per mile, $10.45 per stop, and $27.00 per hour for strapping. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with starts between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. The driver transports cardboard to locations in New England for A. Duie Pyle. The driver completes deliveries and potential returns, protects the tractor and freight, follows DOT requirements, and performs vehicle inspections. The role supports reliable customer service and the company’s supply chain and logistics operations.

What you'll do

• Complete deliveries according to the daily manifest and pick up potential returns as needed
• ensure tractor and freight security and safety
• follow DOT regulations and guidelines
• communicate with customers and account managers
• complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Why this role

Requires a valid Class A CDL, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, and ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance. Recent CDL-A flatbed tractor-trailer experience is preferred.
