What you'll do
- Assemble precision glass fibers into billets and preforms
- prepare glass batches
- melt specialty glass using radio-frequency heating equipment
- operate extrusion equipment
- inspect products against quality specifications
- sandblast and etch glass tubes
- operate annealing furnaces
- maintain production records and traceability
- and follow safety procedures. Supporting draw tower operations is an opportunity with training provided.
