Medication administration is part of the work only when the employee is appropriately certified and assigned medication aide duties; responsibilities may include personal care, meals, housekeeping, and responding to resident needs.

What you'll do

• Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities such as dressing, toileting, repositioning, and personal care
• respond to resident needs and call lights
• assist with meal preparation, setup, and service
• support resident independence, safety, and comfort
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning
• communicate with coworkers
• administer medications only if appropriately certified and assigned to medication aide duties.
