Sales Commission Analyst

Job overview

The Sales Commission Analyst role is hybrid, based in Fort Mill, SC, with five days onsite per week initially and flexibility to move to three onsite days per week after a six-month ramp period. Compensation is $80,000–$90,000 per year on W-2. The role partners with sales and business leaders to support accurate incentive-compensation operations. The analyst validates commission calculations and payout data, investigates discrepancies, and maintains related sales data. Reporting, stakeholder communication, and process-improvement recommendations help ensure timely, accurate payouts and stronger commission workflows.

What you'll do

• Analyze and validate commission data during monthly and quarterly calculation and payout cycles
• investigate payout discrepancies and recommend solutions
• maintain sales hierarchy, crediting, quota, and commission data
• prepare reports and dashboards
• assist with period-end close activities
• explain calculations to stakeholders
• identify process improvements
• partner with payroll, finance, and cross-functional teams.
