The role exists to provide technical engineering and spectrum management support to evaluate Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) activities for potential impacts to the National Airspace System. The engineer conducts compatibility analyses and develops mitigation recommendations to protect safety-critical systems.

What you'll do

• Conducts RF spectrum compatibility and interference analyses for C-UAS systems
• evaluates C-UAS test and operational requests
• assesses NAS impacts and develops mitigation recommendations
• processes Special Temporary Authorization (STA) requests
• utilizes RF spectrum engineering tools and databases.
