The Refrigeration Trailer Technician role is onsite in Reno, NV, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, based on experience. The role supports Amerit Fleet Solutions’ fleet maintenance operations. The technician maintains and repairs trailer refrigeration units so fleet equipment can operate reliably and meet safety and compliance standards. The work includes diagnosing refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues, completing preventive maintenance, and documenting repairs.

What you'll do

• Repair and maintain reefer units, including diesel-powered refrigeration systems
• diagnose refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues
• complete preventive maintenance and service on air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
• conduct DOT inspections and trailer repairs when reefer units are working
• document repairs and work orders
• maintain an organized work area
• follow safety procedures and company policies
• collaborate with supervisors and team members.
