The Certified Medical Assistant – Neurology role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, and pays $17–$25 per hour. The position supports Foothills Neurology’s busy, multi-office practice specializing in headache medicine. The schedule is Monday through Friday, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The assistant supports patient flow and clinical care while handling administrative coordination. By preparing rooms, recording information, assisting with procedures, and coordinating appointments and records, the role helps providers deliver organized patient care.

What you'll do

• Answer phones and communicate information from providers to patients
• use electronic medical records and process records
• schedule appointments and coordinate with hospitals, offices, ancillary services, and testing labs
• prepare exam rooms and stock supplies
• perform injections and collect or prepare specimens as applicable
• draw blood and assist physicians during examinations or procedures
• support patient rooming, vital signs, charting, prescription refills, and prior authorizations.
