Canvasser Driver

The Canvasser Driver role is onsite in Fresno, CA, and surrounding areas. Pay is $22 per hour, with mileage reimbursement for eligible travel between canvassing sites under company policy. Street Level Strategy is a political and public affairs consulting firm that supports grassroots mobilization and community engagement campaigns. The driver transports canvassers to assigned locations and coordinates rides throughout scheduled shifts so field teams can arrive on time and carry out daily operations. The role supports campaign activity through safe, reliable transportation, vehicle readiness, and communication with supervisors and team members.

What you'll do

• Drive canvassers to and from assigned canvassing locations and ensure timely pickups and arrivals. Coordinate transportation throughout scheduled shifts. Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices. Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Communicate with supervisors and team members about transportation, scheduling, and location updates. Maintain a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable four-door vehicle with seat belts for at least four people. Work in person five days per week
• the listed schedule is Monday–Thursday, 3 p.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m., with weekend availability required.
