The Oncology and Rheumatology Outpatient Manager role is onsite in Harrisonville, MO, south of Kansas City. Compensation is $91,520–$135,000 per year. The manager leads an outpatient oncology, rheumatology, and infusion program at a community-rooted critical access hospital. The manager provides clinical and operational leadership for a 13-person team, overseeing daily operations, staffing, quality, and performance. The role supports patient-centered care while coordinating with the Chief Nursing Officer and senior leadership on departmental strategy and improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead operational and clinical work across outpatient oncology, rheumatology, and infusion services
• manage 13 staff members, including RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants
• support high-quality patient-centered care
• collaborate with the CNO and senior leadership on strategy, quality improvement, and performance metrics
• oversee scheduling, staffing, and productivity
• mentor staff
• manage the departmental budget and operational performance
• contribute to quality pillars and performance-based bonus metrics.

Why this role

Active RN license, at least two years of management or operational leadership experience, oncology and/or infusion experience, and BLS certification required. Rheumatology experience is a strong plus; chemotherapy certification is preferred and may be obtained within 6–12 months after hire.
