Housekeeper (Full-Time)

The Housekeeper (Full-Time) role is an onsite position in Alexandria, VA, with a 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule and every other weekend. Pay is $20 per hour. The role is part of Goodwin Living’s Environmental Services Team, supporting its senior living and healthcare organization and its mission to uplift older adults and those who care for them. The housekeeper cleans and sanitizes resident apartments, public areas, facility restrooms, and other assigned spaces. Maintaining supplies, following safe chemical-handling procedures, and reporting repairs or unsafe conditions help keep the facility clean and ready for residents and staff.

What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas and resident apartments
• monitor restroom supplies and linens
• handle cleaning solutions and hazardous chemicals properly
• keep cleaning carts organized and stocked
• sterilize apartments and nursing-unit rooms after vacancy according to guidelines
• record needed repairs and barriers to cleaning
• report defective equipment and unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
