Machine Operator — Paper Converting

The Machine Operator role is onsite in New Caney, TX. Compensation progresses from $16.00 per hour in month one to $18.00 per hour in month two and $20.00 per hour from month three onward. The operator supports GCP PAPER USA’s paper-converting production. The role runs and monitors automated equipment to produce paper products that meet quality requirements. It contributes to production by completing inspections and logs, supporting basic line maintenance, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

What you'll do

• Set up, run, and monitor high-speed paper-converting machinery, including embossers, perforation assemblies, and core-making equipment
• perform visual quality checks
• check oil reservoirs and lubrication
• assist technicians with mechanical format changeovers
• complete production logs for scrap, uptime, and operating parameters
• update plant visual boards
• maintain a clean work area, identify hazards, and communicate status across shifts.
