HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with compensation of $29–$38.50 per hour. The position supports Uniland Maintenance Company and the Property Management Department across company and third-party managed properties. Uniland is a commercial real estate firm providing development, construction, leasing, and property management services. The mechanic maintains safe, efficient, operational facilities by responding to work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing HVAC and other building systems. The role also documents work, communicates with tenants and internal teams, and participates in an after-hours on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Respond to emergency, routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance work orders
• diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and related HVAC issues
• perform general facility repairs
• inspect properties and equipment
• document maintenance activities
• operate tools and diagnostic equipment
• drive between job sites
• participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
