Job overview

The Child Care Center Cook role is onsite in Spring, TX. Compensation is $12–$16 per hour. The cook supports a childcare center’s work to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and their families.

What you'll do

• Plan and prepare balanced meals and snacks according to menus, dietary guidelines, and portion sizes
• follow CACFP requirements and maintain program records
• accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
• maintain food safety and sanitation
• monitor inventory and order supplies
• manage food purchasing within budget
• record meals, temperatures, and production quantities
• clean and maintain the kitchen.
