The Group Leader, After-School Child Care works onsite in Fall River, MA. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. The role supports YMCA Southcoast’s child care programs. Under the direction of the Site Coordinator, the group leader supervises children and leads after-school activities. The role promotes children’s physical, emotional, and social development while maintaining communication with families and supporting a safe program environment.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise a designated group of children in after-school programs
• provide activities in accordance with child care regulations
• model healthy eating and active living
• observe children and contribute information for evaluations
• communicate with parents and children
• participate in program planning and evaluation
• help establish and enforce ground rules
• support cleanliness and safety.
