Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Review charts before visits
• obtain and record vital signs and medical-history updates
• maintain patient records and medication/immunization histories
• recognize symptoms requiring prompt intervention
• transport and assist patients
• set up equipment and supplies
• prepare patients for and assist with procedures
• collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing
• perform listed minor treatments within competency and orders
• provide directed patient education
• sanitize rooms and process surgical equipment
• maintain supplies and equipment
• conduct quality checks
• use electronic health records
• communicate concerns and messages
• provide peer and clinic cross-coverage.

Why this role
