Shift Supervisor – Corrections

What you'll do

• Assist with developing and implementing custody, security, and treatment policies and procedures
• respond to major unusual occurrences and facilitate assistance for injury, illness, or emotional trauma
• direct, train, evaluate, and develop employees and make personnel decisions
• assign work and review post orders and emergency procedures
• review staff and detainee disciplinary matters
• inspect the facility for compliance
• prepare records, reports, and daily logs
• support facility goals and security compliance
• direct and inspect work performed by detainee or inmate staff.
