The Pharmacy Intern role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN. Pay is $19 per hour. The intern joins PharMerica’s closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team, which serves long-term care and senior living clients and specialized care centers. Working under a registered pharmacist’s direct supervision, the intern helps fulfill prescriptions and prepare IVs, supports medication dispensing and inventory practices, and assists with accurate, timely delivery to customers. The work contributes to pharmacy service for hospitals and other care settings.

What you'll do

• Under a registered pharmacist’s direct supervision, fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• enter prescription and reimbursement data with the Billing Supervisor
• prepackage medication according to standards and regulations
• assist with final prescription checking and packaging after pharmacist review
• coordinate delivery
• support inventory practices
• help maintain a clean and safe work environment and check equipment.
