Unified Endpoint Management Engineering Lead in Glenn Dale, MD. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary range of $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year. Leidos is looking for a Unified Endpoint Management - Engineering Lead to support a large program within the Department of Justice. The role involves leading a team of engineers responsible for managing the end-user computing environment.

What you'll do

• Lead the administration and support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), managing software deployments, updates, patches, and configurations
• Develop and maintain MECM configurations and collections
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MECM clients, deployment failures, and other endpoint-related issues
• Monitor and maintain MECM infrastructure
• Lead the implementation and configuration of AdminStudio
• Collaborate with application owners to create, test, and deploy application packages
• Ensure compatibility of applications with endpoint systems
• Develop, test, and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Batch, VBScript) to automate system management tasks
• Use scripting to improve efficiency in managing endpoint devices
• Work with other team members to identify areas where automation and scripting can improve workflow efficiency
• Work closely with security teams to ensure endpoints are compliant with security policies
• Support endpoint configuration for compliance monitoring and reporting
• Ensure all endpoints are adequately protected from vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain documentation for MECM configurations, packaging processes, and automation scripts.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
