What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• complete takeoffs and detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and project costs
• prepare proposals
• track bids
• request shop drawings and submittals
• obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing
• communicate scope or pricing changes
• compare estimated and actual costs
• support sales, project management, and operations
• answer customer questions
• visit jobsites and take field measurements or core cuts when required.
