Afternoon Caregiver

Job overview

The Afternoon Caregiver works onsite in Utica, MI, supporting recipients in their homes and community settings. Pay is $17.13–$18.35 per hour. The role supports ExpertCare’s services for community mental health recipients in Southeast Michigan. The position exists to provide one-to-one support that encourages recipients and helps them build skills and pursue personal goals. Caregivers follow care plans and support activities both at home and in the community.

• Work one-to-one with recipients in their homes
• support, encourage, and assist with skill-building activities
• accompany recipients into the community to support personal goals

• communicate effectively and work independently
• travel reliably to assignments.
