EEG Technician

Job overview

The EEG Technician role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour. The technician supports neurodiagnostic testing in clinical and hospital settings, producing brainwave data physicians use to diagnose neurological conditions. The role performs EEG studies and maintains accurate equipment operation and documentation to support patient diagnostic outcomes. It works with physicians, nursing staff, and scheduling coordinators to keep testing workflows clear and responsive.

What you'll do

• Measure patient scalps using the International 10-20 System and apply electrodes for routine, ambulatory, and video EEG studies
• respond to routine and stat inpatient orders
• operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot digital neurodiagnostic equipment
• communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and scheduling coordinators
• maintain equipment and supplies
• document patient clinical notes.

Why this role
