The Director, Applications Engineering role is onsite in Westminster, CO, with compensation of $218,000–$266,000 per year. The director leads the customer-facing technical organization supporting CesiumAstro’s communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. The role ensures customers can understand, integrate, operate, and deploy products successfully. It leads Applications Engineering, translates customer feedback into product and roadmap input, supports customer integration and technical issue resolution, and develops documentation, tools, training, and scalable application solutions across the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the Applications Engineering team
• establish the technical customer interface
• support product adoption, integration, testing, commissioning, and operation
• translate customer needs and feedback into product requirements and roadmap input
• support pursuits, configurations, proposals, and demonstrations
• guide technical support and anomaly resolution
• oversee customer-facing documentation and enablement
• develop reusable application solutions
• coordinate with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and execution teams.
