Lot Assistant

The Lot Assistant role is onsite in Tampa, FL, with pay of $17–$19 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role supports ADESA’s vehicle auction and remarketing operations, which include vehicle services and market hub distribution centers. The assistant helps maintain accurate inventory flow and vehicle readiness before, during, and after sale day. The work includes staging and moving vehicles, recording their locations, completing basic readiness tasks, and coordinating with shop, operations, customer service, and administrative teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare and stage vehicles for sale, including applying stickers and marking vehicles
• move vehicles using a lot tow truck or forklift and operate the service truck
• scan the lot and record vehicle movements electronically
• assist with vehicle readiness by jumping vehicles, adding fluids, and adding air to tires
• remove personal property from vehicles
• coordinate inventory flow with shop and operations teams
• support customers and sale-day administration
• verify mileage, make, year, and VIN
• maintain safe work areas and report hazards.
