Product Engineer – Full-Stack Software

Job overview

The Product Engineer – Full-Stack Software role is onsite in Chicago, IL; compensation is $100,000–$140,000 per year plus performance bonus. NEWITY provides access to SBA loan solutions for small businesses and serves more than 125,000 business customers. The engineer owns product features from requirements through deployment, combining software development, product thinking and testing. The work improves NEWITY’s digital lending platform and supports customer and business needs through reliable features, data capabilities and ongoing maintenance.

What you'll do

• Own product features from requirements through production deployment
• translate business and user needs into technical specifications
• design, develop and maintain web and API software
• create and execute manual and automated testing
• use AI tools and methods to improve development and testing
• implement data collection, analysis and reporting features
• collaborate with design, sales, operations and compliance
• document technical work and provide stakeholder updates
• monitor existing features and resolve issues.
