What you'll do

• Maintain constant surveillance of pools and safe swimming conditions
• review and respond to emergencies according to YMCA procedures
• maintain positive relationships with members, participants, and staff
• apply pool and aquatic-area safety rules
• maintain required records
• check equipment and pool hazards
• perform chemical testing and take appropriate action
• complete assigned maintenance and cleaning
• attend required meetings and training
• follow YMCA policies and safety standards.
