Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid Advisor role is hybrid, with an on-site presence in San Rafael, CA and remote work as part of the arrangement. The role also manages in-person or virtual support spaces, co-leads workshops, maintains student records and milestone tracking, and supplies teams with current financial aid resources.

What you'll do

• Serve as a first point of contact for FAFSA, CADAA, and financial aid inquiries
• staff financial aid spaces and provide one-to-one student assistance
• review aid packages and identify funding gaps
• engage students around deadlines and loan acceptance windows
• coordinate workshops and evening or weekend events
• maintain student interaction records and Salesforce milestone tracking
• travel within assigned regions to schools, offices, and events.
