The Electrical Engineering Intern role is onsite in Huntington Beach, CA, with pay of $25 per hour. Layup Parts develops manufacturing technology using proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems for customers in aerospace, defense, robotics, and other fields. The intern supports the engineering division as it builds an automated factory. The role contributes through hands-on work with factory machinery, electrical systems, controls, and robotics, in collaboration with software, mechanical design, and production teams.

What you'll do

• Help build out the automated factory
• assist with factory machinery and industrial equipment
• help design, retrofit, and commission robots and automated systems
• learn electrical systems engineering, control design, and robotics
• collaborate with software engineering, mechanical design, production, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
