Director of Memory Care

Job overview

The Director of Memory Care role is fully onsite in Fort Pierce, FL, with stated pay of $60,000–$65,000 per year plus potential for a 10% annual critical-position bonus. The Lynmoore at Lawnwood provides assisted living and SHINE Memory Care in a senior living community. The director leads the dementia and memory care program, overseeing individualized engagement, staff support, compliance, and coordination with families and other teams. The role exists to help residents receive compassionate, safe, and personalized care while supporting the community’s daily operations and regulatory responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and direct the Memory Care program
• design and implement dementia-specific programming, including Life Skills and individualized engagement
• partner with Activities and Celebrations teams
• supervise, train, and support care staff
• coach care managers in dementia care practices
• facilitate monthly family support groups and serve as family liaison
• coordinate care plans with Health and Wellness
• monitor regulatory compliance and prepare for audits and inspections
• manage department budgets, staffing, and performance standards
• lead dementia education and awareness.
