Winter Retail Supervisor

The Winter Retail Supervisor role is onsite in Charlemont, MA. Compensation is $18 per hour. The position oversees day-to-day operations and presentation of the winter retail shop at Berkshire East Mountain Resort, working with Customer Service managers and the Retail buyer. The supervisor helps maintain an organized, welcoming shop and a positive guest experience by supporting sales-floor operations, merchandise presentation, customer service, and staff training. The role contributes to the resort’s winter operation while backend ordering, receiving, pricing, and related administrative tasks are handled by the Customer Service managers and Retail buyer.

What you'll do

• Oversee the retail shop’s appearance, organization, and day-to-day operation
• maintain clean and organized sales floor and backstock areas
• ensure merchandise is priced, tagged, stocked, and displayed
• provide customer service and help drive retail sales
• monitor inventory and identify product gaps or sales opportunities
• share observations with the inventory manager or buyer
• organize lost and found
• direct guests to Customer Service at the Welcome Center
• answer basic guest questions
• help train and support staff as needed.
