Mental Health Professional — Correctional Facility

The Mental Health Professional role is onsite at a correctional facility in Greeley, CO. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday in 10-hour shifts. Compensation is $34 to $39 per hour. CorrHealth provides mental health services to inmates or clients in a correctional setting. The professional evaluates mental health needs, provides treatment and crisis intervention, and coordinates care with healthcare and security staff. The role contributes to therapeutic outcomes and facility safety through clinical assessment, treatment planning, consultation, and accurate documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct intakes, evaluations, and assessments
• identify symptoms and treatment needs and make referrals
• coordinate care with physicians, prescribers, psychiatrists, and other staff
• provide appropriate non-pharmacological treatment
• provide crisis and suicide intervention
• develop treatment plans and provide clinical supervision for caseloads
• monitor special populations
• train staff
• attend multidisciplinary and administrative meetings
• document services
• provide linkage or discharge planning when appropriate.
