Third-Shift ICU Veterinary Technician/Assistant

The Third-Shift ICU Veterinary Technician/Assistant role is onsite in Charlotte, NC, working 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a seven-days-on, seven-days-off rotation. Compensation is $26–$27 per hour, with a $3 shift differential. Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is a 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital with advanced diagnostic and specialty services. The role provides nursing care to hospitalized specialty and emergency patients and assists veterinarians with clinical care. ICU staff support patient comfort, safety, and health while coordinating with specialists and emergency veterinarians.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians
• provide nursing care
• perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• conduct laboratory analysis and digital radiology
• triage patients
• support anesthesia induction, intubation, and monitoring
• perform medical calculations
• provide client service.
