The Dock Loader — 1st Shift role is onsite in Spokane Valley, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Base pay starts at $21.50 per hour. Cornerstone Building Brands makes exterior building products for residential and low-rise non-residential buildings. The role supports accurate, safe, and timely shipment of products from the plant. The Dock Loader loads and unloads trucks and trailers, verifies shipments against load lists, records discrepancies, and coordinates with shipping and plant staff to help maintain inventory accuracy and avoid delivery delays.

What you'll do

• Load and unload trucks and trailers, including moving windows, glass, and doors by hand from the production floor to designated trailers
• scan all products loaded
• verify quantities against load lists
• check manifests and record shipment exceptions
• communicate discrepancies and potential delays
• follow safe freight-handling procedures
• use hand trucks, dock carts, dock plates, wheel chocks, and banding devices
• report safety or quality concerns
• clean and maintain the dock and trailer interiors
• coordinate with dock leads, shipping coordinators, the shipping supervisor, and plant manager.

Why this role

Base pay starts at $21.50 per hour. Loading experience, glass handling knowledge, and experience moving trailers are preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds continually.
