Saratech is seeking an engineer to support its client’s vehicle design, build, and flight-test operations. Relocation assistance is available. The role provides structural analysis and analytical substantiation to help ensure the integrity of air and space vehicle components, assemblies, and systems. It contributes across design, production, integration, testing, delivery, and operations by developing analysis models and documentation, supporting test plans and manufacturing reviews, and coordinating with engineering stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Perform structural analysis using classical methods and finite element analysis
• develop or use global and discrete finite element models
• review, update, and create engineering analysis documentation
• prepare reports
• participate in structural design workflow release
• support reviews of manufacturing plans and procedures
• support structural component and system test plans
• develop standardized analysis criteria and templates
• coordinate with engineering stakeholders through vehicle design, production, integration, test, delivery, and operation
• and mentor junior team members.
