What you'll do

• Enter data into electronic billing systems
• prepare and submit insurance claims

• obtain prior authorizations and referrals
• follow up on unpaid or rejected claims and resubmit as needed
• review remittances and correct billing errors
• post insurance and patient payments
• manage delinquent accounts and payment plans
• prepare statements and invoices
• answer billing questions
• and generate reports.
