What you'll do

• Research mineral and surface ownership using Texas county and public records
• review deeds, assignments, probate records, wills, affidavits of heirship, judgments, liens, and other recorded documents
• trace ownership through conveyances and generations
• research deceased owners, heirs, estates, and successors
• identify gaps and discrepancies in title
• review legal descriptions, acreage, surveys, and property records
• organize findings and supporting documentation for the landman and acquisitions team
• assist with ownership verification before purchase offers
• support complex title issues requiring additional research or curative work.
